Slip-In Shoes in Pakistan 2026: Hands-Free Comfort, Prices and How to Choose

Slip-in shoes are the easiest sneakers to live with: you step in, the heel stays put, and you are out of the door. No laces, no bending down, no crushed heels. That is why they have become a daily pair for office casual days, travel, errands and anyone who takes their shoes on and off many times a day.
This guide explains what slip-in shoes are, who they suit, how to get the size right, what they cost in Pakistan in 2026 and how to look after them. It also lists the slip-in sneakers we currently sell, with prices.
What are slip-in shoes?
Slip-in shoes are sneakers you put on without using your hands or bending down. A shaped, supportive heel and a flexible opening let your foot slide in and the heel stay in place, so there are no laces to tie and no heel to crush. They suit daily walking, errands, travel and anyone who takes shoes on and off often.
The difference from an ordinary slip-on is the heel. A basic slip-on has no structure at the back, so most people pinch the heel down with a finger. A slip-in keeps its heel shape, which is why you can wear it hands-free.
| Feature | Slip-in sneaker | Basic slip-on | Lace-up sneaker |
|---|---|---|---|
| Putting on | Hands-free | Often needs a finger at the heel | Tie laces |
| Heel | Keeps its shape | Can collapse | Keeps its shape |
| Fit adjustment | None, so size matters | None, so size matters | Adjustable with laces |
| Best for | Daily walking, errands, travel | Short, casual wear | Long runs, sport |
Who are slip-in shoes good for?
- People who are on their feet and on the move. Cushioned soles and a light build make them easy for long days out.
- Anyone who takes shoes off often. Mosque visits, homes where shoes stay at the door and airport security are all easier without laces.
- Travellers. They are quick to put on at a rest stop. If you are packing for a long drive, see our road trip footwear guide.
- Anyone who finds bending down uncomfortable. Hands-free wear removes that step completely.
- Smart-casual office days. A clean, plain slip-in works with jeans and chinos. For stricter dress codes, a leather pair is safer, so read our office shoes guide.

How should slip-in shoes fit?
Choose your size by foot length in centimetres using our size chart, and take the larger size if you fall between two. The heel should hold without rubbing, and your toes should have room to move. With no laces to tighten, a size that is too big will slip at the heel.
A quick fit test when your pair arrives:
- Step in without using your hands. The shoe should accept your foot easily.
- Walk a few laps indoors. Your heel should stay in place and not lift with each step.
- Check the toe space. You should be able to wiggle your toes, with no pressure on the sides.
- Wear the socks you plan to use. Thicker socks change the fit more than most people expect.
Measure your foot in the evening, when it is at its largest, and compare it with the SOLES.PK size chart. If the size is wrong, our exchange policy explains the process.
Pros and cons of slip-in shoes
What works well
- Fast and hands-free, with no laces to tie or come undone.
- Cushioned soles that suit walking and standing.
- Breathable knit or mesh uppers that stay cooler in Pakistani summers.
- Light enough to carry in a bag when travelling.
What to know before you buy
- Less secure than laces. For long runs or hiking, a laced shoe holds your foot better.
- The heel can feel firm at first. Give a new pair a few days of short wear before judging it.
- Knit uppers soak up water. They are not the right choice for monsoon puddles, and light colours show dirt sooner.
- Size matters more. You cannot tighten a slip-in, so the right size is essential.
How to look after slip-in sneakers
- Brush off dry dirt first. A soft brush lifts dust from the knit before it sets.
- Clean by hand. Use a damp cloth with a little mild soap, and avoid hot water or harsh cleaners.
- Dry in the shade. Direct sun and heaters can warp the sole and fade colours. Stuff the shoes with paper to hold their shape.
- Rotate pairs. A day of rest between wears lets the cushioning recover. Our shoe soles guide explains why sole material affects how long a pair lasts.
Which pair should you choose?

Frequently asked questions
What are slip-in shoes?
Slip-in shoes are sneakers designed to be worn hands-free. The heel keeps its shape and the opening is flexible, so your foot slides in without bending down or using a finger, and there are no laces to tie.
What is the difference between slip-in and slip-on shoes?
Both have no laces. A basic slip-on usually has a soft heel that can collapse when you put it on, while a slip-in keeps a shaped heel so you can step in hands-free. Slip-ins are usually cushioned sneakers, while slip-ons range from leather loafers to canvas shoes.
How much do slip-in shoes cost in Pakistan?
At SOLES.PK, slip-in sneakers are priced from Rs.6,800 to Rs.8,200 in October 2026, and most cushioned pairs sit between Rs.7,700 and Rs.8,200. Delivery is free across Pakistan and cash on delivery is available. Prices and stock change, so check the product page.
Are slip-in shoes good for walking all day?
They suit everyday walking, errands and travel when they have a cushioned sole and a size that holds your heel. If your feet hurt at the end of the day, a supportive sole helps, but persistent pain is worth showing to a doctor or podiatrist.
Should I size up in slip-in shoes?
Go by your foot length in centimetres on our size chart rather than guessing. Take the larger size only if you are between two sizes. A size that is too big will slip at the heel because there are no laces to tighten.
Can I run or go to the gym in slip-in shoes?
They are fine for walking and light activity. For long runs, fast sessions or heavy gym work, a laced shoe locks your foot in better and is the safer choice.
